It's been a while

I didn't mean to be away from blogging for so long. Coming back home and moving down to the DC area has sapped away much of the time and energy I would otherwise have devoted to blogging.

I was going to post my dissertation now, but my normal means of converting Word documents into PDFs doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Hopefully it'll return by the end of the day.

The job search continues. Fortunately, I'm not entirely without options, as I've been offered a position teaching SAT prep. It's not my ideal job, but it offers benefits and pays reasonably well. It should be a good stop-gap until I find a full-time position I'm happy with.

I do have some ideas floating around that I'm planning to write about, so if you haven't given up on my blogging completely, stop back in the next few days.

In less than an hour (55 minutes, to be exact), I will be exactly 23 years old.
