No laptop power

That power cord I was having trouble with back in January gave out for real this time. So I've been without my laptop since Monday. Fortunately, Dell is shipping me a new power cable, free of charge. Unfortunately, they're shipping it to my address back in the U.S., so it'll take even more time for it to get to me.

Once I have access to all my notes again, I'll write up some interesting tidbits about what British newspapers were saying about the First World War in the early months of the conflict. A brief preview: not everyone was as optimistic as you probably think.
